@sharding I had and have the same feelings you described for likes, yet enjoy freedom to just read and move on more strongly, with favorites acting more as a bookmark / save for later for my own reading than for notification to authors.

I find I check-in here most often when I either already feel peace or need sanctuary, and have a curious urge to see how much the community has grown.
